She’s Got Belly…. A Real Beauty Revolution Begins!

On Monday’s NBC TODAY show, Matt Lauer interviewed Cindi Leive,  Editor of Glamour Magazine and plus model Lizzie Miller. Miller, who bared it all in the September issue and revealed her tummy, has caused a lot of chatter on the internet. The positive reaction from women was overwhelming. Leive told Matt Lauer on TODAY Monday. “You get a reaction like this and you can really see it. It’s also a sign of the times that women are really looking for a little bit more authenticity and a little bit less artifice in every part of their lives.”

We’ve heard it before. We’ve watched as the Dove campaign began to “get real”  and show models who weren’t  the fashion norm; unrealistically svelte.  But, this time, it feels different. There is a wave of change, and I’m seeing it happen right now! I’m working with the Leaders and the Entrepreneurs who are creating the future. These women are building a new world, a new way of being. They are stepping up and become the new role models for our young girls need.  They are showing the world their authenticity by making the best of who they are. We can all do the same.

I applaud Lizzie Miller! I applaud Glamour Magazine. I think a Real Beauty Revolution has begun!

I love this blog post! BRAVO! It’s about time for some authenticity! I am a weight loss coach who coaches women to end the diet drama and ditch the ideas of perfection. I can’t wait to repost this blog and pics. Thank you Tamara for being authentic and fabulous!

Even though I am guilty of many moments of wishing myself magically thinner, I earned my saggy belly having four beautiful children, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
